We are pleased to have been invited by many Rotary clubs within the local area to provide lectures and information about our stem cell transplantation program. Dr Angus Ross has so far attended four separate club meetings to discuss a little bit of stem cells science, some fantastic animal case responses and the possible future for stem cell transplantations.
These discussions have been very well received with many Rotary members who are interested in the work that is being undertaken due to their own personal arthritis issues. In one rotary lecture, Dr Ross was lucky enough to present to the New South Wales State opposition Minister for health, Jillian Skinner, who was very interested in the concept and how it may apply to the State government health-care system.
Our stem cell transplantation programme continues to proceed with good success, and we have now treated over 110 animals.
